Best described as a seafood roadhouse. Lots if seafood options and an eclectic interior. Our visit was fun.
We had taken the ferry from Cape May, NJ just to see what was around. Nothing was really open in May around the Lewes area so we decided to branch out and see what was around. We stopped here because it popped up on my google search.

To my dismay my grandkids were reading all the t-shirts while we were waiting for our table and they were all obscene. One of the waitresses had a t-shirt on that said something really vulgar on it. Food was good but not hot. We went their to celebrate my daughter's birthday.
The owners of the restaurant say people simply need to lighten up. In fact some have taken out full page advertisements in local papers, ripping the marketing gimmick. We're a more family oriented resort, we've been serving families here for 28 years, so it isn't good for the area.

Soon after Crabby Dick's opened on South Broadway inco-owner John Buchheit started catching one of the best compliments a restaurateur ever gets. And when the restaurant closes Sunday, they'll be leaving Baltimore the best possible way -- on top. Buchheit and Slotter began their business ventures by buying real estate in the early s.
Crabby Dick's is a delightfully cheeky seafood spot with seating for over eighty guests on their pet-friendly patio. Some of their most popular menu items include their crab balls and The Pirate's Snatch steampot. Their menu selections include various sandwiches, crab entrees, meat dishes, and more. Daily specials are available throughout the week.
I have to tell you that i, too was very turned off by the signs posted - just references about their crab "balls" instead of caked - a novelty for them. We'll be sure to try Crabby Dicks next time around- we did see it, noticed the play-on words, weren't sure. Also a tip for next time- pick up a copy of the Rehoboth Beach Main Street discount book at the convention center.
